Hanoi is located in the Red River Delta, in the center of North Vietnam. Hanoi is the oldest capital of Vietnam with a population of 1 million in the world. Hanoi is the second largest city in Vietnam and It is the commercial, political and industrial center of Vietnam. One Pillar Pagoda is situated in the western part of the city. Temple of Literature, built in 1070, is regarded as a dedication to the founder of Confucianism. Sword Restored Lake is situated in the center of the city because of its unique location. Sword Restored Lake is located as a basket of lower placed in the middle of Hanoi. Hoan Kiem lake is the most beautiful lake in the city. Other attractions include Quan Thanh Temple, Quan Thanh Temple, West Lake and Youth Road, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, The Ho Chi Minh Museum and The Army Museum as well as The Fine Arts Museum.
