The long attractive palm-fringed promenade, Birinci Kordon, which stretches to the Alsancak Ferry Terminal, is a popular site for going for walks. Other main attractions include
Clock Tower (Saat Kulesi), Kizlaragasi Han Bazaar and Kadifekale (Velvet Fortress).
