Located in the middle of the coastal area of ZhejiangProvince, Taizhou is to the south of Shanghai and close to Ningbo and WenzhouCity. Covering 9411 square kilometers and has a population of 5.5 million, it is a rising city by the sea on the Gold Coastline. Plastics industry is one of Taizhou's key industries. Started in the 50s, shaped in the 80s, the industry had got fast development in the 90s of the 20th century. Among 200 cities in China, Taizhou, ranked 38th in the general competitiveness, and realized the GDP of almost 120.0 billion RMB last year.
