Hong Kong Description

Hong Kong, also known as "Fragrant Harbour", is made up of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories. Hong Kong is to the east of Macau , on the opposite side of
the Pearl River Delta. Victoria, located at the foot of Victoria Peak, is one of the finest harbor in the world. The Kowloon Peninsula is attached to the New Territories in the north, and the New Territories are bordering to mainland China across the Sham Chun River. Hong Kong Island, the heart of Hong Kong, is the center of economy, politics, entertainment and shopping. Hong Kong has been a special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China since 1997. Nowadays, Hong Kong has a population of around 7 million.

Hong Kong Island's skyline is exactly amazing, especially at night. Well known as Ieoh Ming Pei's Bank of China Tower, built in 1990, is Hong Kong's third tallest skyscraper now. Another world famous structure is the HSBC Headquarters Building, finished in 1985. The Peak is one of the most visited attractions in Hong Kong. Victoria Harbour is one of Hong Kong's most beautiful tourist attractions. Ocean Park, situated on the southern Hong Kong Island, is the largest leisure paradise in Southeast Asia, and one of the largest marine parks in the world. Other main attractions include Lowland Gardens, Headland Rides, Marine Land, Hong Kong Nature Kaleidoscope, and Museum of Coastal Defence as well as Hong Kong Disneyland. Hong Kong is also a shopping paradise for everyone !
