Separated from the Australian mainland over 9000 years ago, Kangaroo Island remains one of the most unspoilt wonderlands of the world. Kangaroo Island is Australia's third largest island in Australia. The Kangaroo Island Council covers an area of about 4,400 square kilometres.

The creatures on the island includes koalas, echidnas wandering in search of insects and kangaroos, goannas, wallabies, penguins and birds everywhere.
