Ayers Rock is located in the Northern Territory near the city of Alice Springs. Ayers Rock, also called Uluru, is considered once of the great wonders of the world. It's also the icon of Australia which is the world's second largest free standing monolith.

Ayers Rock rises solitarily 348 meters above the desert plain and is over 9 kilometers in circumference. It's also known for its sacredness and changing colors.
